NGC Observation Certificates (Advanced)

Binoculars: Anyone who observes 400 NGC Objects with binoculars, records the above – required information, will be awarded a special plaque.

Telescope: Anyone who observes 1000 NGC Objects with a telescope, records the above – required information, will be awarded a special plaque.

Note: This award is the highest ranking of all the deep sky observing awards.

Note: Only one plaque per category (Binocular and Telescope) can be awarded to an individual club member of good standing. All objects for the advanced award must be observed, identified, drawn, and described.
